Family Retreat
After living in the home for many years, this growing family looked to the real estate market, but ultimately decided to stay and remodel their current home. They decided to focus on the improvement of both aesthetics and function and knew that we could help them.
The bones of the home were in good shape, so no major walls needed to be touched. We focused on perfecting the home’s original architecture by opening up the staircase, enlarging windows to the north view, replacing all windows, upgrading all lighting to LED fixtures with smart controls, and improving the kitchen and bathrooms. The ceilings were low, so we splurged on down-lights that were flush with the ceiling, raising the doors to go all the way to the ceiling, and introducing one-of-a kind materials from local trade talent.
